Hey Rascals,

It’s been a while hasn't it! After the last Rascal party at club 8 back in early 2010 we wanted to jump right back on the decks, but there were children to be born and journeys to be taken.

BUT NOW!!!!!! we are very excited to announce that you are gonna have to dust off your red and black party clothes as we will be returning to Club 8 for a special Club Rascal Reunion Christmas party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep we will be back spinning non-stop indie tunes for you to tear up the dance floor of club 8 on Saturday 17th December 2011.

Okay quick update for you all.

The 21st of Oct is the 3rd Saturday of the month so you know what that means...INDIE DISCO!
We will have Mix tape number 10 for you to have and to hold for free, plus a few give aways in the shape of a new album or two.
Plus all your favorite new and old indie tunes as always :)

Then on Thursday 26th we will be doing a guest DJ set at the Melkweg for the Poptrash 1st year birthday.

Then a brand new bit of info for you, the indie disco action continues on Saturday 28th in the shape of 'Rascalloween' Yep we are throwing a FREE indie halloween party!More details of that night will follow soon, plus there will be posters and flyers about it at the next Club Rascal. Just start making your outfit now!

A Super Quick post of info as i have very little time, but just had to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to every one who was there at saturdays Rascal Birthday Party!

It was such a great night, and a super big thank you to Robot Rock getting the party started in grand style!

Also thanks to every one who helped put up balloons, work in the cloak room, serve drinks and anything else that helped the night go so smoothly.

One more thank you, goes to my DJ Partner in crime DJ Bx (Rebecca) Could not of rocked the party with out you.

Hey Rascals,

Wow what a night (15th March)So hands up if you had some fun! Because I know we did up on that stage spining those tunes and dancing just as hard as all of you was on that dance floor.

A big THANK YOU to all you indie kids that came out to party and make that the bigest CR so far! at one point we was told you were having to wait on the stairs for up to 30mins or more.

Back inside the club once again there was lots of Table dancing! Always nice to see :)

Just people dancing everywhere was a great sight to see.

Hey Rascals,

Okay i'll try keep this short, but have to say a BIG thank you to everyone who was at 'CR' on Saturday night (18th Feb)
Wow what a night, myself and Rebecca had a blast spinning those indie tunes all night for you. Don't think i've jumped up and down so much on that stage before, I even got cramp in both feet at one point but even that would not stop me.
looked like you all had a great time too!
what with the all the hand clapping, cheering and singing to many a song.
There was even dancing on the tables!! (S & A keep up the good work)
What a night, thank you :)

So lets do it all again next month Saturday 18th March, and every 3rd Saturday of the month for the rest of the year!

Oh my god I can't believe it you all look great on a clubrascal dance floor!

Wow well what can I say, i'll start by saying i'm typing this at 6:36 sundaymorning and just had to write this before going to sleep. (i'm still buzzing!!)

A big BIG thank you to everyone who was at rascal tonight, it was truly amazing!
And it was so cool to see so many of you in Red n black, your all great!
It really meant a lot to me to see that.
There was a guy (red shirt,black jacket,black tie, asked for Pulp) and girl (red dress, black arms/legings, pig tails asked for the Smiths) who were in red and black and reminded me of the white stripes you both had very cool outfits andyou left just before the end when I handed out the secret gifts, if your at Rascal next time please come see me and i'll have something for you! (also i'll play the Smiths for you as well:)

Thanks to my DJ co stars Becks, Tom and Elze you all did a grand job.Thanks to Marije for everything you did helping out your a true star.

Also a big thank you to the girl (sorry I did not get your name) who brought me a birthday present (a funky disco lava lamp). Very kind of you :) please e-mail me so I can thank you personally.

What else is left to say apart from Rascal is here and it's here to stay, next year with your help it will be even better.
I hope you all have a very merry x-mas and and a great new year, and I look forward to seeing you all next time for more indie rock n roll action.

Heads up Rascals the 17th is almost upon us, and oh am I excited!
its been a great year for 'our' music, with bands such as Bloc party, kasier chiefs, Franz Ferinand, Arctic monkeys, hard fi, Editors, Arcade fire, Maxio park,the Rakes oh the list goes on and on of great music that has been released this year, all becoming the sound track to our lives.
Plus hopefully 'Club Rascal' providing a place to hear all this great music together and to lose you're self on the dance floor to your favorite tunes.

Don't forget there will be Rascal Mix tapes being handed out and if your wearing Red 'N' Black you might get one of the 3 secret X-mas gifts at the end of the night!

Hey Rascals,

It's the moment you've all been waiting for :) Hot off the press i have some dates for upcoming Club Rascal Nights.

The 1st date is the 9th November at 'The Winston' http://www.winston.nl/, They will be putting on two bands that night and then Club Rascal takes over and rocks the place into the early hours of next day :)

The 2nd date for you is the 17th December at 'Club 8'. This night will be the 'Club Rascal Christmas Indie Diso' No better way to end the year than dancing to all your favorite indie/Alternative tunes!

Flyers will soon be up here and more info and details about both nights and maybe others to follow.

By the way it was great seeing and chatting to a number of you who went to see The Rakes last night, and the Rakes put on such a great show! 22 Grand Job!! what a great night!

And well you all did look damn good on the dance floor Saturday night (15th Oct)
A BIG thank you to everyone who came to Club Rascal and tore that dance floor to bits, making it our best CR so far!
It was great to see many returning for more Rascal action, and also so many new faces having a great time.

It was fun speaking to many of you, and taking and hopefully playing as many of your requests as we possibly had time for. I think my favorite was Le Tigre TKO, but i loved playing them all and you all went crazy to the lot of them. SO MUCH FUN!

Also DJ Bx, brand new to the Rascal Decks did a grand job mixing it up and bringing some new tunes to the rascal playlist :)

What more can i say, apart from i had a blast DJing till 3am, shame we had to stop then i'd just keep going and it looked like you all would of as well.

Also at the end of the night everyone was asking me when will the next one be?
That i'm working on right now and will post info as soon as details have been confirmed.

Hey Rascals,

So another Rascal comes and goes, and back thanks to everyone who turned up on Saturday (10th Sept) night and made it great fun.

It's good to see some more new faces, and see the Rascal word is slowly spreading.
Also a big hi to our Rascal regulars who continue to support CR and help make each club night such a great time with a cool vibe.

Any way, on to the next Club Rascal, it's the 15th October so a little time away but as ever it will roll around before you know it.

Hey Rascals,

I've just surrived my 1st Lowlands, and wow what a festival it was! 3 days of dancing and going mad to some some of the best bands around, it does not get much better than that.

High lights had to be Franz, The Pixes, The Others, Queens of the Stone Age and the Mighty Foo Fighters who closed sunday night in spectacular fashion!

Also a BIG hi to all the Rascals i bumped into at the fest and a even bigger one to Regular Rascals Cath, Pete, Becks, Nadja and Co who let me camp with them and and basically have a riot of a time!! ROCK AND ROLL!

And so back to the real world and on to the next up and coming Club Rascal night. Below is the new flyer you can print out and use to get in for free before 10pm.
Once again we will be rocking untill 3am to all your fav indie/alterntive tunes old and new.

Also if there is any thing you would like to hear on the night, either post a coment or send a e-mail to clubrascal@hotmail.com and we will do our best to try and play it during the evening, or if you have any other coments on the night please let us know so we can apdapt and make it better :)

And so having finally recovered from Saturday night, i'd like to thank everyone for coming out and making the night great fun!
Hi to the Libs loving Guys from england who were over for the weekend and found our Rascal hide out. (see pics below)

Also good to see some regular Rascals coming back again for more action, glad i could fill some of your requests for tunes. I loved playing 'Ash- Girl from Mars' i'd not heard it in ages!

Many thanks to all those that turned up to CR last night, even though it was getting hot out side and even Hotter on the dance floor!
That was our last Thursday Rascal, we are now moving to Saturday nights and not looking back. This should make your favorite Alternitive music night get bigger and better.

We will still be rocking at Club8, and playing all the best indie tunes, old and new, from the Strokes to blondie and everything inbetween. And so Saturday 13th August will be our next Rascal night. Opening at 9:30pm and rocking all the way to 3AM! Get in free before 10Pm with a flyer.
